Tenants
Tenant re-certification is collected annually to determine rental changes, and appropriate apartment size for families. Rental payments are based on 30% of the annual household composition, and income.
Intram re-certifications are done if there will be a significant increase or decrease to their monthly rent or family size.
If BSRHA determins that the tenant household exceeds the present apartment size. BSRHA will give them a two week notice to move to an approiate size unit, should a vacant unit of appropriate size be available.
Decreases to rent take place the 1st day of the month following re-certification, and increase to rent is given a 30 day notice.
