Emergency Utility Assistance
The Emergency Utility Assistance program is designed to assist community members who are exeperiencing temporary hardship, struggling with past due payments, and are at risk of having vital utility services disconnected.
This policy has recently been revised to include all utilities (i.e. Electricity, Water & Sewer Service, Fuel), not just electricity.
BSRHA offers this assistance on a first come, first served basis. Assistance can be provided in the amount of up to $1,000 per household. Up to $10,000 in each of our 17 communities can be utilized per calendar year.
Please see below for further information, application and policy and procedures involved.
